Joe (aka, Captain Joe) has worked as a real estate professional alongside Beth since 1995 and was a general contractor, building and remodeling homes throughout Old Naples. Prior to his real estate career, Captain Joe wore many hats including professional Fisherman and Guide for Everglades National Park and United States Coast Guard Captain. His passion for nature also guided his studies in Bird Biology from Cornell School of Ornithology and supported his accomplishments as a teacher for the Collier County School System where he educated adults on the Science of Fishing and was featured on five nationally broadcast fishing shows, most recently “Fishing with Mariko Izumi” on the Worldwide Fishing network.

Captain Joe was born in Naples and graduated from Naples High School and attended Florida State University. His parents owned and operated the first art gallery in Naples which was originally located on Third Street South before they moved it to 5th Avenue South in the mid 1980’s. Captain Joe brings an unprecedented knowledge of Naples history, along with a courteous and friendly demeanor that keeps his customers having fun and coming back for more. He is also a part of the musical culture in Naples and can often be found at local venues performing in his band, “Capt. Joe and the Bottom Feeders.”
